How we work

To achieve its mission, Creative Knowledge Foundation combines three complementary methodological approaches — participatory, heri-telling, and intergenerational — with an integrated suite of digital tools: the CK Foundation Digital Framework.

Grounded in the UNESCO 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage, these methodologies and tools work together to make heritage documentation rigorous, community-driven, and economically meaningful — transforming living cultural knowledge into lasting assets.

Methodological approaches

Three complementary approaches — participatory, heri-telling, and intergenerational — that share a common ethical foundation: solidarity, respect, and community protection. They adapt to any cultural context and any heritage tradition.
