Who We Are

The Creative Knowledge Foundation (CKF) is a US non-profit 501(c)(3), founded in Tucson, Arizona (USA). We work across five continents with communities, institutions, and partners who share a commitment to preserving and valorizing living cultural heritage.

Our work connects family farmers, artisans, bakers, weavers, and artists – the practitioners who carry centuries of accumulated knowledge in their hands, their recipes, their techniques, and their stories. We call them Knowledge Keepers.

CKF combines three complementary methodologies and an integrated digital framework to document, transmit, and transform that knowledge into lasting cultural and economic assets — for the communities that hold it, and for the world that benefits from it.
